Are you sure that it wasn't just the spare buffet car you saw? That was in the Carriage on Monday with DVT 82101 and an 08; no sign of the complete set.

There were at least 3 Mk3 in VT livery with the DVT in a side road of Wembley at 10am on Monday morning. By the time I returned at 6ish that evening, they'd gone or something else had been moved in the way!

They must have departed some time between 1000 and 1300 when I went past. The place was more or less empty then, only the odd coaches with the 08, a couple of 325 units and the sleeper stock in the shed.

I would assume that Virgin will put it back on the Euston-Birmingham workings that it previously worked whilst covering for 390006. When though, that is the question

I suited the pendolinos...but the MK3s looks awful in it. I think its just the shape.

It definitely looks better then the old Virgin Livery. Shame they didnt fully refurbish the interior like FGW did to there MK3's but its mainly a backup unit so oh well. :?

Sounds promising...but can i ask - whats EBW?

Even so though... if the Cargo D / DBS rake has return then it sounds like something more than just one locohauled set...

Forgot to mention. The Cargo-D/DBS rake was there on Thursday in Wembley, and by afternoon it had been joined by the refreshed rake, admittedly in several pieces across the yard. I wasn't looking yesterday, too busy reading!
