Hi there, first post on RailUK so apologies if this is in wrong area or content.
Need to book several Wolverhampton-Euston returns in October & November on VT. Have read site many times & also emailed VT about First package contents but still struggling to understand. Hoping one of you more experienced rail travelers can help me please.
Can see multiple food/drink options available at differing times of day. no problem there. But also see the following comments on the VT web site:
Evening Meal Pendolino Service....
Available on all services except those on the West Midlands route.
and under Breakfast Pendolino Services....
* When travelling between Wolverhampton-Birmingham-London, cereal is only available before departure in First Class lounges.
Wandering what exactly that means? Is a meal service available and is it the full listed package or something different? And same for breakfast....is it available or modified in some way? Have used First VT services in the morning and it has been the full service in the past.
Just to clarify it is a weekday (Friday 7.45) service and weekend late Sunday return. I know the weekend First service is thin but would very much like to clarify what we should expect during the weekday services on VT departures from Wolverhampton please.
Also why is the food offering different by train type?
Apologies a lot of question variable but feel certain some of you regular uses will know this backwards. Many thanks in advance for your help
