...No, they haven't increased the off peak service (although the Euston to Chesters should stop there).
At Nuneaton this morning, I arrived to catch the 07:33 Super Voyager service to Euston. This is a double set, formed of the 05:35 from Lancaster and 04:40 from Holyhead, both of which join together at Crewe. Now, the Lancaster service terminated at Wigan meaning the service was short formed of only 5 carriages, wholly insufficient to meet the high demand from Nuneaton cummters. As such, it was full and standing from Crewe.
Virgin Control therefore did very well to make the 06:35 from Manchester stop additionally at Nuneaton to meet the demand, with many unable to board the 07:33. After collecting the hordes at Rugby, we only arrived into Euston a few minutes late, having apparently left Stoke late as well with an extra stop in between. And the breakfast service was much better than on the Voyager
