l am traveling 1st class this saturday on virgin Glasgow to London service.l know there is no hot food/sandwiches that are dished out at your seat.Can you attend at the onboard cafe,produce your 1st class ticket and get a freebie.....or do you have to buy it?

I'm not sure about Glasgow to London but on Birmingham to London they come round with a trolley containing the usual suspects.

One time I had to go to the shop but you get some free things (I got a bacon sandwich!), just show your ticket before buying anything

Yes, listen for the announcement shortly after departing Glasgow, that the shop is open
It should include an advisory for First Class ticket holders, to bring their First Class tickets

Between Preston and Euston there may be an at-seat service
However, it is quite basic with just drinks, crisps, biscuits, and fruit
