Virgin Atlantic Meals?

I always pre-order as I tend to book premium. If I travel economy i try and get seats near the front of the economy cabin so I get my meal choice.

The post I replied to implied that there was a (very small??) chance you might not get your choice when pre ordering.

Beef is only “banned” in economy, it’s worth remembering!

Originally when they brought it in that might of been the case, but my experience is there is no beef served in upper class or their clubhouse lounges either.

But then when I've had beef on other flights such as Delta its been tough and tasteless anyway.

Intriguingly, travelling twice recently, it seems pork is very much in vogue on Virgin. Seems odd, but I can see why beef would be unlikely with the large amount of Indian routes and Indian transfer pax at Heathrow.

Logically if you extend that position, would Pork not alienate all the Muslims and Jews ?

As far as I am aware they don't serve beef on any routes ?

That's why I said "it seems pork is very much in vogue on Virgin. Seems odd", because I am somewhat surprised that pork would be a go-to meat for flights now. I would have almost assumed it would be chicken or veggie, at least in economy.
