To the feature film length video:
A two-week trip via Germany, France and Belgium almost exclusively by train - only the return leg included the ferry Dover - Calais. We stayed three days in Dawlish and three days in Leeds, the rest of the time was spent travelling with several overnight stays. Due to the drought, mainline steam was banned in the UK, but three visited heritage railways still provided several steam engines in operation. We also saw some quite interesting diesel railtours. Additionally, we visited the Seaton tramway and the Wuppertal suspension railway featuring the 125-year-old Kaiserwagen. Only mobile phones were used to film this trip - the separate microphone stayed at home as it would have taken up too much space.I have marked relevant heritage and other special encounters in the list of contents for easy search. :0)
