Hello all,

In the third installment of the Z-Trains series, we look at the S&C between 2000 and 2010. Video description:

Z-trains recreates the railtours and special workings that had a 'Z' in the headcode. The Settle & Carlisle line is the feature of this video set between 2000 and 2010. There is a variety of diesels and steam on railtour's, freight and railtours. Highlights include:

- An LMS 8F Stanier on a freight train (yes, in the 2000's!)
- D1015 'Western Champ' on it's first visit to Carlisle hammering up Blea Moor
- A Pair of Fragonset 31's on a railtour
- 5690 'Leander' on The Dalesman seaonal tours
- Class 70002 making it's debut on the S&C on a Freightliner coal turn
- Slam Door EMU's being hauled by a 66 for preservation
- A Virgin 57 hauling a dead Class 390 on a training run

Excellent. Shame railworks doesn't have SWT livery for the CEPs of 6Z05.

Yes, well it's not more the livery, it's the fact there is no CEP for Railworks at all. I've seen that photo as I spent a hell of a lot of time on research, and figured a solution, which was to bang two Class 423's together, drive the shed from Ribblehead, then film at a distance so some wouldn't quite tell what it is (hopefully ).

Already working on the next one....
