I occasionally go to Victoria in the morning peak and there's usually a big crowd trying to get into the Underground so I tend to take the bus for onward travel. How long does it actually take to get from the NR concourse to the Victoria line platforms?

Should be much easier now that the extra gateline, new passageways, lifts and escalators have recently been commissioned. Or try walking to the new Cardinal Place entrance, gateline, lifts and escalators.

The walk down the new escalators to the Victoria Line is quite long, but it's a lot less busy.

Personally I'm surprised they haven't made the old side the 'down' and the new side the 'up'.

That would probably cause too much congestion on the station.
