Via Kensington Olympia validity

I have searched a ticket from Welling to Wembley Central. (As I am thinking of any alternatives to Oyster Fare as I may travel at 5pm, within Oyster peak but eligible for National Rail ticket with Railcard discount)
I have found a ticket for Via Kesington Olympia from National Rail website (sadly, can't be sold on Southeastern / London Overground - Redirected to Chiltern sites, but just London Midlands).
Is it possible for the following journey to be made:

Welling - Denmark Hill - Clapham Junction - Wembley Central
Welling - Denmark Hill - Clapham Junction - Willesden Junction - Wembley Central
Welling - London Victoria - Clapham Junction- Wembley Central (Most obvious and direct one for non rail fare researcher)
Welling - New Cross - Surrey Quays - Clapham Junction - Wembley Central

It'd be great if you could expand on the three letter codes the first time you use them, as that's the usual forum policy so that people unfamiliar with the area/codes can understand it without needing to look it up. Thanks

As for the routes, I can confirm that at the very least, the third and fourth routes which you mentioned are acceptable. I am able to produce an itinerary for the former on www.trainscanbecheaper.info by adding via DMK (Denmark Hill) and CLJ (Clapham Junction) into the advanced options, and latter by adding via NWX (New Cross), SQE (Surrey Quays) and CLJ.

When I enter via DMK and CLJ the third route is what appears by default. It may simply be that the route via Victoria is fastest.

Have a play around with the Trainscanbecheaper journey planner and the via and not via points; if you can get it to show your intended route on the through ticket, it's almost certainly a valid route. (There are a limited number of circumstances where a route is shown as valid even though that is an error. If you are relying on a specific route it is always best to buy it with an itinerary and to travel in line with the route provided with the itinerary).
