Veynes-Devoluy - Briancon line, France

As I am planning to travel on this branch later this year, I watched:

At Gap, there were five hopper wagons. I couldn't tell if they were SNCF Departmental ballast wagons, or revenue traffic.

Does his scenic branch have regular revenue freight trains? If so, what's carried and to/from where?

I don’t know about freight trains, but I found this old girl dumped on a siding at Veynes Devoluy when I got off the overnight train from Paris the other morning.

That has been in use (until fairly recently I'm sure) for excursion trains run by a heritage operator.

It looked in a pretty poor state when I got to see it up close.

It was interesting to see that they still operate a passenger foot crossing at the station in Veynes Devoluy.
