Verona to Milan services

Is there any loco hauled services on this bit? I understand you can go high speed or regional.

As far as I can tell, all the fast long distance services are now operated by Frecciarossa or Italo electric multiple units. However a lot of the regional services are still worked by class E464 electric locos and MDVC/MDVE push-pull stock. These are nowadays operated by Trenord so, unfortunately, InterRail, Italia in Tour tickets and rail staff passes and priv tickets are not valid.

AFAIK Interrail passes are still valid - there are only a handful of Trenord services which are excluded (such as the Malpensa Express).

AFAIK only the Malpensa Express is excluded.

I wont be using Interail, I will require a single ticket between Verona and Milan. I would prefer the slower regional service if it was loco hauled.

The last time I took that service (or rather, saw off a friend who was taking it) it was a modern Hitachi double decker unit.
