Hi
Does anyone know the exact time the above tour is supposed to pass through the new Winslow station. Going by my calculations (from the confirmed departure times on pathfindertours) it should be roughly 11:30am. Can anyone confirm this?

If you have means to get to the overbridge just to the north of Whaddon village, or the bridge and curve where Swanbourne station used to be, I've found both locations photogenic.
And there's no risk of shooting against the sun on Saturday - the thick cloud is forecast to persist...

Very good trip and all running to time. A little disappointed we weren’t pathed on the Wymington Deviation north of Sharnbrook as would have avoided waiting to take the fast lines at Bedford and then again at Wellingborough. But all in all pleased I made the effort to get up at 5am.

Agreed. Cracking day out. It flew up Lickey, reaching the summit just shy of 40 mph.

I agree and the Cromptons weren't as volcanic as I'd hoped. On the footage I've watched, they seemed to barely break a sweat along the Bletchley to Bicester leg.

OT... I did Lickey behind a Duff and a pair of Hoovers (service trains in both cases). But I wish I'd done it like this 8-)
(video of D9000 taking 12 unassisted up Lickey with wonderful ease)

I suspect they were sauntering along that section deliberately. After all. It was the highlight of the trip, and I certainly appreciated the opportunity to experience the line at a more leisurely pace than if we had hacked along it at 85 and it all been over much quicker.

In contrast, I’d have preferred that the 47 wasn’t pushing up the Lickey, or maybe just pushing enough to offset its own weight. So that we got to see just how well the 33s could do. However, I seeem to recall we were overtaken by a XC Voyager fairly soon after, so maybe it was a requirement of the path offered to clear the section as quickly as possible or to ensure there was no delay to the service behind,
