As far as I can see Veolia ceased operating in the Newport area on the 1st April 2012 and I do not think Bishton has seen a bus service since. I know of a few bus stops still showing defunct operators. Some Brewer's stops in Maesteg and a Shamrock one at Tythegston between Bridgend and Porthcawl but the timetables usually seem to disappear.

I like the 24 hour clock thing on the bottom of the timetable. Do the Welsh not know how to tell the time?

When I saw the subject name I was worried for a sec that mob had returned from the dead.

Praise The Lord!

I'm amazed the Shamrock one is still there when the rest are Cymru Clipper now!

Shhuuuushhh... We don't want anyone taking them down!! ;)

I know ones you mean though :D

There's a few Avon ones dotted around Brislington if you know where to look ;) In fact an E400MMC was unusually serving one of them a few weeks back.

Haha I thought the same for a moment. I can't believe it's survived since 2009!

I've seen one or two Glyn Williams - stickered flags fairly recently. How long ago was it they sold out to Red and Whi. ... er Stagecoach?

Yep, Mr Anslow has made a living out of selling up to Stagecoach! Gets the money, waits for covenant to expire, starts again!

Clearly he's an astute businessman and busman!

One wonders whether some of the companies which have ceased operations recently would have had a better outcome (at least for staff and passengers) if they had been sold to the big groups while still profitable.
