Would anyone know why there has never been any sort of energy generation technology implemented to harness either the wind power or vibrations created by trains.
When I think about the immense amount of wind power that comes out of the ventilation shafts on some train lines, it seems logical that some form of energy recovery would have been designed.
Would it be to do with safety regulations? or would the wind not be powerful enough?
If anyone has any information to validate this it would be much appreciated
