Does anyone know what the plans are for the Velaro E320 and carrying bikes? I know that currently on the 373s bike carriage is more or less non existent unless it is a folding bike; but I'm wondering if since the E320s don't have power cars/locomotives at either end if some crumple structure space might be being made available for bikes to be carried in? I haven't seen (and can't find) anything about the interior design, except that it's being done by a fancy Italian design house.

Thanks!

dunno about E320, but the ICE3 of which it has a development has NO bike space, although the international version does appear to have additional luggage space

Bit of a stretch to make any assumptions about layout based on what the IC3 has, given the very different (long) formation.

I think they should make accommodation (perhaps for an small extra charge), since France is a big cycling holiday destination.

Theoretically even if say 8 seats are lost to house 6 bikes, assuming the train is not at capacity, then 6 more passengers could choose to use Eurostar than without the bike racks.
