A big ask I know
But can anyone post the current
Valley Lines diagrams covering routes
Barry Island,Penarth via Cardiff Central to
Treherbet,Rhymney,Merthyr Aberdare
And city line diagrams Coryton to Radyr.
Hoping to do a video on my next visit, and since Pacers wont be operating on my later vists I plan to do a day ranger on the 9th September to video at various locations with Pacers in mind.
Thanks in advance

Chris

Is Cefn Onn railway station
still accessible?
I know it closed some time ago.

I don't think you will get a complete answer here as similar requests haven't been in the past. Anybody on the inside has to be careful what they post on a public Forum. All the routes are shared, probably equally, by Pacers and 150s except the City Line which sees few 150s but includes 153s. There are the two LHCS on the Rhymney Line for which there is a thread where the Diagrams are posted.

Ok. Thanks anyway.
May just have to work off
timetables on the day if needs be.
Does anyone know of the Pacer farewell
day and if anything will be painted for it.

Yes,I remember it well.
Caerphilly tunnel is at the end of it.
Used to be a great location for photos back then but the train service was slim
with only a handful stopping there each day.

There are a few lines unappreciated like we have 2 places where they go to from Leeds once or twice a day and with new trains introduced people should be able to get to more outposts including any place in wakes that hasn’t a associated football team.

Does anyone know of any links to
download Valley Lines timetables.

Thanks again.

I always get physical timetables as they seem more traditional and Chester and Shrewsbury usually have the best TFW sejection

As I have said, I and a good many other people would like to access such information, but they are not in the public domain. Your only hope might be that somebody can post them to you in a Direct Message (Conversation)

Thanks.
Have been working out timetabled
Train diagrams through Realtime trains.
Most workings follow a similar pattern.

Penarth-Bargoed for instance returns to Penarth every 2hrs,with the odd one extended to Rhymney.
That's the type of gen I was after tbh.
Seems pretty easy to work out so far!
Nice one for trying though.
Thanks again

Another useful tool is RTT because Cardiff Central and some other stations (few of them mind you) show up the previous and the next working if you click on to the train Reporting number and look at the schedule.

That's how I have done it so far lol.
Currently have timetabled all departs and arrivals at Cardiff Central, checking train running at each terminus to confirm!
It's a lot of writing so far,but everything seem to follow a pattern.
May post the diagrams myself, but suspect loads of typing here if anyone is interested.

Have noted some short workings like
Cardiff Central to Cardiff Central via Ninian Park?

The Ninian Parks, I presume, are ECS shunts. The schedules also tell you if there are attachments/detachments en route.

I think you are correct without going into it further lol.
There are regular Treherbert terminators and some that extend to and from Barry to Bridgend.
Makes interesting reading.

Managed my valley lines pacer day out yesterday.
Had quite a few that were working as well.
Some are in these videos

Didn't make it to the top ends of the valley lines and didn't do a single 150 all day!

It was a touching day for me knowing I wont be doing this again as they will be all gone for my next planned visit.

An interesting observation this morning was a Pacer on the
0914 Swansea to Newport.
A nice stretch for 142082 which was one I had yesterday too.

The Pacer paired with it on the trip down would have gone to Fishguard Harbour
