What are the valid routings for Edinburgh Airport Bus/Tram to somewhere else west of Edinburgh tickets?
The ticket description says that you should change at Edinburgh Gateway in/out of the tram
The route tag on BRFares is VIA EGY TRAM
The forum ticket website offers a routing via Haymarket, which is AirLink 100 according to the Lothian Buses timetable (which doesn't make any sense as for one it's clear that it's Trams only)
And funnily, even with a avoid Haymarket, I can't get it to give me an itinerary changing at Gateway.

Edinburgh Airport Bus/Tram > North Queensferry, £9.70, Change at Edinburgh Gateway for the Tram

Shows a routing via AirLink 100 via Haymarket
However, ScotRail's (Trainline), which is from where I will need to buy from (due to landing from overseas), only offers itineraries through Edinburgh Gateway, a 0min connection time, and a 25min EDI-Gateway transit which makes no sense

LNER likewise offers EGY (Edinburgh Gateway) but will let me put a VIA Haymarket and spit an itinerary but doesn't offer mTicket fullfilling.
Can I use such ticket on Trams from the airport down to Haymarket, break my journey there, (have a fry up
, hire a bike), and go to North Queensferry later? Or am I forced to use Trams to Gateway and then continue my journey there (which would be very inconvenient for me)?
Or can I use the Trainsplit itinerary with a ScotRail purchased ticket and go my way through that way?
