Valid Off-peak Routing Query (Forum ticketing site)

I have a regular journey, off-peak period return from Gatwick (GTW) to Colchester (COL)
The route I take is via Farringdon (ZFD) and Liverpool Street (LST)
The restriction code is 7B

[With Network Card discount £43.65 - but no relevant restrictions here]

Outward Journey(no issues with return)
GTW - ZFD (Thameslink)
ZFD - LST (TfL - EL or LUL)
LST - COL (GA)

Departing GTW after 17:00 on a Friday

Restriction 7B has no outward restriction on the afternoon from Liverpool Street or Stratford
There is a restriction on the journey from Gatwick
"Valid on trains timed to arrive
....

• Moorgate or pass through London St Pancras International before 04:30 and after 09:29 and before 17:30 and after 18:30;"
  

This seems straight forward.
I can take the following
dep GTW 17:32 arr ZFD 18:31 (arr STP 18:35)
Then TfL to LST & dep LST 19:00

GTR will give me this if I set the route as via Redhill
The forum website won't give me this route as an option at that time.
GA shows it but as anytime fare.

Am I missing something?

Gatwick - Colchester routeing is, probably unsurprisingly, via London, so any valid route Gatwick-London can be used. But that’s not really your question, I guess.

The unpublished restrictions say that the ticket is not valid to depart from Farringdon between 1629 and 1857 on any TOC. This is being correctly applied by Greater Anglia.

Quite ironic considering that restriction looks likely to be aimed at Thameslink services!

No idea what the restriction code is from Ifield (I would start short at Gatwick) but GA are happy for me to arrive at Farringdon @18:40 & dep 18:50

It's the same - 7B.

(There is no evening restriction from Liverpool Street or Stratford, as you say, but at XFD you might want that itinerary handy!).
