Just seen two yellow V200s in Verona but, as seems to be normal with infrastructure locos, there are absolutely no identifications on the locos. I know there were a number of V200s originally sold which ended up in Italy so trying to identify these two may be clutching at straws but if anyone has any information it would be most welcome. Thanks in advance.

The platform 5 book for Italy says about the Class 220:
Former DB locomotives on which the British "Warship" class was modelled ... two have been sold to RTC and four to track contractor GCF.
It sounds like it was GCF operated ones you saw, which are numbered:
  • 220028
  • 220029
  • 220045
  • 220060
Can't help you on which of them is in Verona I'm afraid.

Thanks, think these were all yellow, as some have a black roof, but finding pictures is difficult!!!
