I would imagine some of the stations on the Cathcart circle which have multiple entrances can get used by non rail users as a shortcut (Mount Florida, Queens Park etc)
Not ever used Queens Park (Glasgow), but at Mount Florida station, which is an island platform down in a cutting, with overbridge access at either end of the station, it's highly unlikely that any non-rail user would ever be taking a route that would necessitate walking down/up the stairs and along one end of Mount Florida's platform to the other as a "short cut" as there's not really any time saving and the parallel Florida Drive at street level is the more straightforward alternative route.
