Using priv card online, please help.

Hey guys,

how can I book P&O ferry online and use my priv card? it's even written on ATOC website that can book P&O tickets online and get discount with priv card, but not sure how to do it?

please help

I have seen this question asked elsewhere and the answer seemed to be "call them instead". Apparently there is a special website but it doesn't work atm.

Another option is to complete the P&O Booking Form (90020) from the forms section of the RST site and submit that directly to P&O by post, e-mail or fax along with a copy of your Staff Travel/TOC Priv Card.

Note that the previous discount/promotion code doesn't work with the new booking engine either, in addition to the "partner" page being missing from the site.

When I had a PRIV a few years back, you could just turn up at the ferry terminal in Dover and get a foot passenger ticket from the ticket desk. It was quiet back then, so I would imagine that it is still rarely sold out of foot passenger allocations.

Just turn up.

If starting from Calais, obviously it's a bit different, but it can all be done on the phone.

Nice idea in theory, but the Travel Centre at Dover has closed and foot passengers now get bussed from the Terminal to the ferry, so it may no longer be possible to turn up "on spec".

Can't really turn up as we're driving down to Spain, so would like to book before hand. And atm they have good offer - flexi tickets for the price of standard ones, hoping to get that with the discount as will need a flexi one on the way back.

It would have helped at the outset if you had mentioned wanting to take a car. I think many of us reading this assumed you meant travelling as a foot passenger!

Why would most/any people assume the OP was wanting to be foot passenger? I automatically thought of car+people.

Out of imterest does anyone know what sort of discount the Priv card gets you? Considering a Hull to Zeebrugge trip (with car!)

Perhaps because we think of Priv discounts as being something that isn't generally associated with travelling by car.
