Using off peak ticket at different station

I had a off peak ticket today to and from london euston to liverpool lime street via avanti.

I have been given a road lift to milton keynes by a friend. Can I get the train from here to liverpool lime street and if so what time train can I catch?

It would be helpful if you could tell us what ticket you have exactly. Assuming it’s the ‘any permitted’ off peak return, yes , you may provided you comply with the restrictions on ticket. However I’d like to clarify your ticket first. It’s probably restriction 9i: Restriction 9i in which case:

Days​

Monday to Friday
Mondays to Fridays

Outward Travel​

Not valid on trains timed to depart:
  • London Euston after 04:29 and before 09:26 or after 15:00 and before 18:45 (Restrictions do not apply on Fridays)
  • London Kings Crossafter 02:59 and before 09:06 or after 14:59 and before 18:59 (and before 18:15 on Fridays);
  • London Liverpool Street after 04:29 and before 09:31 or after 16:28 and before 18:35;
  • London Maryleboneafter 06:29 and before 09:00 or after 16:00 and before 19:00;
  • London Paddingtonafter 04:29 and before 08:10 or after 16:40 and before 18:31;
  • London St Pancras International after 04:29 and before 10:26 or after 15:15 and before 18:59;
  • London Waterlooafter 04:29 and before 08:15;
  • Kensington Olympiaafter 04:29 and before 09:15 or after 15:14 and before 18:12;

Note the evening peak restriction out of Euston and that these apply to any train that has departed Euston during this time. An aside , there is no off peak ticket from Euston to Lime street as far as I can see routed Avanti so I’m assuming you’re using an any permitted ticket. If your not using this ticket , different restrictions will apply.
