Now Avanti are appearing to get back to "normal" I note that the number of first class seats has been reduced (replaced by standard premium) and the sheer price of first class tickets now prohibitive for a leisure traveller like myself.
When I travelled first before the pandemic, Piccadilly and Euston's first-class lounges were well used, even off-peak. What is the situation today, now that cheap advance first's are so difficult to come by? If patronage is low, are they viable? Or are they still busy at peak times?
