You are wasting your time. There is no shady conspiracy by secret unknown people to rule the world. There really isnt.

You have absolute proof of this then?

I don't care if you challenge my views or not. Please do. That is the benfit of living in a free state. BTW I am not allowed by the rules of this board to respond to many posters in the direct and robust manner I would ideally like.

Benfit? Lol.

What a shame that you can't reply in such a manner - I mean you are obviously intelligent enough not to reply in such a manner what with your education and 'if I don't believe in it then it is silly' way of thinking. You do make me chuckle though.

So an unexplained celebrity murder is now to be linked to every conspiracy going? The police say there was no evidence of any connection with Saville or any expose.

Who's saying that it is - only you are.

Most likely it was a contract killing carried out by criminals convicted via Crimewatch or for some bizarre reason by Yugoslavian assassins as the style of killing matches their modus operandi. Of course it could be a secretive group of underworld world rulers desperate to preserve their power and status but i doubt it. It certainly wasn't the bloke the old bill fingered for the crime.

It could, then again nobody knows for sure who killed Jill Dando - I don't even think Jill would have known her killer.

Money and influence - pure and simple. UK politicians know Murdoch can destroy them in an instant with one headline. People out there lap up such rubbish without question. We can see that facts are of little use or import to many these days. There is your new world order, not secretive Jewish lizard people!

Vast money buys influence and access. Politicians need money to campaign and in return they grant access. Trump used his money to access presidents in the past to try and influence them. He used his money to get elected and will now help out all his rich mates by cutting their taxes. He is as beholden as all the others.

Indeed - but the fact you give credence to the possibility of a secret organisation ruling the world is worrying. Any rational thought shows such a suggestion to be bonkers.

Rational thought would also seek to explain why the thinking behind NWO is wrong and prove it as such. Some chap in the middle of rural Buckinghamshire saying 'it doesn't exist, silly silly!' is not going to persuade me nor anybody else who subjects to critical thinking and study of things that it doesn't for fact. Like with the analogy about God, if you could 100% prove to me there is a God then I would have to accept that he/she/it is infact God. If you can only 99% prove it, and there is a 1% element of doubt, then you can't prove it outright.

If they do exist why did they allow Trump to win? Is he one of them? Why didn't they kill him like other opponents and put one of them in his place? However I can see how it would be necessary to rub out a UK TV star. I mean compared to he president of the United States their power is almost endless!

That is actually quite interesting and worthy of discussion - what is the plan with Trump? He has no experience of being in government nor politics, so why has a complete political outsider now got the top job? There's a lot of thought and debate about why, but I guess most of them are silly and should be ignored even if there is some small facet of truth in them.

Perhaps but it is honestly a PR vehicle for the Russians - Believe them as gospel if you like but the question should be why do they (Russia) want Trump in the White House?

I agree that it is a PR vehicle for the Russians but sometimes I wish we had British broadcasters who tended to stick up for their own country as there isn't really one at the moment.

I have also watched Al Jazeera on the odd occasion for a change.

You must be watching tv through next doors curtains seeing as you haven't got one.:)

To be fair, I wouldn't rule out paying attention to them just because they are a Kremlin PR machine.

What I would say is that it is generally good to be as informed as possible, to take in news from different varied (and often conflicting) sources and to way up the facts and opinions, along with knowing the biases and the reasons behind those biases, to form a coherent view of what is going on.

Sadly, in today's world, a large number of people just don't give a damn about reality and just want quick to read headlines that make them feel good, forget about their problems, laugh about someone else's problems or blame their problems on someone else.

You tell him, John! If he can give it, he can take it as well.

I don't think your question will be answered here, which is sad because it's one that needs answering - what is the game-plan behind Trump becoming President?

You are ASKING the right question! I think it's actually obvious. Look at who the NWO is comprised of - the Swiss cuckoo clock industry from Davos (why do you think they meet there?!), the lizards from their base in Austin zoo, the Canadians and Norway. What do they gain from Trump? Well, for one Trump University was a front for their activities, and they need to stop the court case against it WHICH we know has explosive evidence against them. What better way to do this than to make Trump president?! Plus the wall building industry is also a well known NWO cabal and they will get a lot of money from a Trump government. And thirdly, Trump is the ideal mole into high level meetings because it's easy to hide electronic mind control equipment IN his hair.

All makes sense now ;)

Of course - I am not paying £145.50 p/a to the commie pinko liberal BBC ;)

Is it not the job of reporters to objectively report the news not stick up for their countries? I will happily admit we have too much editorialising in news presentation but obvious bias like Pravda TV goes to far. Al Jazeera is one I don't really know as i have only watched it abroad.

I tend to get my news from radio 4 / radio 5 as few other radio stations in the UK offer such depth or length of news coverage. I did like channel 4 news but haven't been able to watch that for some time

Happy to agree - but you need to be able to grade and sort that information. Knowing that RT is a PR machine for the Kremlin is important in understanding their angle - and everyone has an angle.

Oh, I'm quite convinced he would. Bit like a dog with a bone - I won't agree with him so I must be taken down by any means.

Besides, why should you care how I come across - I don't give a stuff (obviously). Let people think what they want, it's not as if our paths will cross any time soon if at all.

I don't get the defensiveness about being interested in other media sources or explanations for things - it's as if I have mortally wounded somebody by doing so. If it's silly or wrong, in your opinion, then fine. I think that a lot of what passes for news these days is equally silly but hey I can't change the world.

It's a typical response which I have seen many times and on different forums and social media, yet very few people are prepared to explain their counterpoint in a sensible manner. I can accept that most people will still trust established media (even when it is far from truthful) so what is the issue with going to another media source? Breitbart and Guido might not be wholly accurate, but is it the fact that they are right-leaning which offends people more than the stories which they actually produce? If you want balance, then whilst you need The Guardian and BBC you also need The Daily Mail and RT/Breitbart and to try and silence one of these just because you don't like what is being said smacks of fascism and small mindedness.

It has been said that people are now trusting alternative media as opposed to the established media - well whose fault is that? If trust and respect in these has been eroded, then you have to ask could they have done more to persuade people to believe in them and stay onside?

If I asked people why they believe in the things that they do, I'm sure that I could pick a few holes in their beliefs too.

You have to hand it to the man, he is a winner and has outmaneuvered every other world politician once again.
Conservatives are saying they won't deal with him as a go-between, well they might not be given any choice if that's the job he's given. It may be talk to Farage or talk to nobody.

Theresa May will be seething at that picture.

Who are all the other people in that picture? Unfamiliar with some of them.

Can you please list them all, from far right to extreme right?

No, do it yourself if you're that bothered, it's not hard.

Wouldn't that make you angry that another government was telling us what to do? What happened to sovereignty?

Authoritarian right winger not in the mood for jokes today? Any day?

Ah I see, one of them is Raheem Kassam, someone who said Nicola Sturgeon should have her legs taped together so she couldn't reproduce.

What an age we live in! How enlightened their followers must be!

I don't remember anyone from UKIP inciting the assassination of a president or is that ok because she was a member of the liberal elite and writes for the Guardian.

When did Nicola Sturgeon incite that? Are you talking about that Telegraph blogger?

And I've seen plenty of death threats, as well as an actual assassination, from the right:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassination_threats_against_Barack_Obama

Your victimhood narrative is showing. It isn't going to work.

Yes I am talking about the Guardian and Telegraph writer, a loathsome individual.

Telegraph, liberal elite?

Who are the liberal elite? How can we tell who they are? Is their blood green or something?

It's all been very Brass Eye on here lately.

I'm most reminded of the propaganda campaigns favoured by dictators. Are we the bourgeoisie? The capitalist roaders?

The one defining feature is that the term is so vague and obscure that anyone the mob don't like can be put into it.

Yes people; not Theresa May is your PM, but Nigel Farage. Maybe NF brought the congratulations from TM to Donald Trump. I believe the second on the left is a Brit, because he is wearing a poppy.

Now that he's President, it's a good thing for Trump that he has the best assassination insurance ever:

Mike Pence.

Notable opinions on certain topics:

-Ban all abortions
-Ban Cannabis
-Ban Pornography
-Ban Contraception
-Reverse same-sex marriage
-Pro-creationism anti-vax
-Pro-War
-Anti-Science/Stemcell research.

Though I would agree with *some* of those things the negatives make anyone who brings Trump to his demise is a complete idiot.

I know some 'liberal elite' (they wouldn't regard themselves as so) who voted for Trump, not because of liberalism, socialism or elitism, but because of 'anti-establishmentism' or the ideology that those who espouse certain ideals or exhibit such behaviour don't consider the responsibilities of making such udeals or behaviour. It is a vote against the culture of the untouchable, or the unimpeachable. They hope Trump will change that and the global view of America and that's why they voted for him.
