US Airways livery looks like it was designed by a school kid who had run out of felt tips with the right colours. ANA look like Boeing paid them to do 787 adverts (The worlds ugliest new plane). Any thoughts?

Can you expand on that?

I don't see anything wrong with it, unless you're referring to one of the special liveries?

I can certainly expand on it and I wish whoever came up with the colour scheme had expanded a bit more. Personally speaking that monochromatic stars and stripes on the tail is awful. I think American have improved on that terrible metallic scheme they had although the new one is still a bit bling. Deltas new colour scheme is alright. The mix of United and Continental isn't bad. US Airways is hideous though in my humble opinion.

That said, the pilot who put his Airbus down in the Hudson River should go down in history as one of the greatest pilots ever.

Just a bit more regarding US Airways. It appears whoever designed it got a bit depressed and drunk and teamed up with the person who did Malaysians colour scheme for the A380. We have the worlds biggest passenger plane here, it's a bit of a whale but how can we make it look a bit dull?

Meh, I'm not particularly bothered by it.

There's no need to be like that.

Ah come on mate. You say "You are aware that is the companies logo?" and then get a bit precious about my reply.

Apologies for being a moaning ar*e b the way. Ha ha, more important things in the world than how companies paint their planes.

I suppose I probably should've ended it with a :?

Tbh, your OP was a little cryptic, it would have made things easier if you'd been a bit more specific about what you don't like.

Fair enough mate. Apologies for any difference of opinion. It was fairly criptic now you say, wasn't meant to be. It is always nice to see someone elses opinion anyway.

With US Airways if you look at the rear of the fuselage you'll notice a wavy pattern which is a subtle node to America West who bought USAir out of bankruptcy and changed their name to US Airways with the old USAir logo. The colours used are also that of America West, the ATC callsign is Cactus and ICAO code is AWC (all again America West)
