Thanks @03_179. I was unable to hang around for 5E84 & 5Y84. So I banked on 5S99 from Kings Cross which ended up being cancelled some time more than an hour after it should have started !. Your info was my clue that I would probably not see it at Kings Cross. So I waited in the cold at Hornsey as the supplying move from Ferme Park / Bounds Green (also 5S99) was not getting activated anyway. So just in case 803004 went North from there I hovered at Hornsey. Long after 803001 had gone South I decided to go for a walk into Ferme Park industrial estate - managed to get 803004 just.

I can confirm 800109 on 5Q71 - a test run apparently to do with testing transition from diesel to electric and/or vice versa while on the move - is my recollection of what was being said.

Thank @Gordonman. 803005 certainly stayed away from London. 800109 confirmed.

Regarding 5S99 Kings Cross to Tyne SS. I do not think I have ever seen it actually run but I have seen it alive and cancelled late so do not rely on it. I think the supplying move (also 5S99) from Bounds Green does not get activated so that is the clue.

Bit of a war and piece but perhaps the 5S99 bits will be of future use to others (and me !).

Afternoon, my usual Saturday lunch trip (0O12 Margam - Eastleigh loco move) not running unusually, however, a late replacement has popped up as 6O12 12.36 Margam to EH with 400t load - and wonder if this is one of those bulk loco moves, and hope I can catch it somewhere...
Margam received loco(s) this morning on the 0V49 01.20 Toton Up Sdg to Margam and wonder what was on it.

managed to observe 6O12 at Patchway just now - 66003 dragging 66023 and RHTT stuff.

Can anyone confirm if 803003 is still on 1E88 Edinburgh to Kings Cross Please. It was apparently on 1S93 to Edinburgh this morning but I am checking in case a swap happened at Edinburgh. I am contemplating going to venture into the smoke to see it.

803004 apparently worked 1S93 today so 803003 doesn't look to be out
