66598 showing at Ipswich Storage Sidings as of 1155 so has come off 4L41 as mentioned.

last couple of days the loco off 4L41 has worked back on 4M42 to Garston, not saying it will today but that’s what happened last 2 days

Thank you very much Tom and 55002 for the updates. I was rather hoping it would return a bit before 4M42 if I’m honest as it would pass me in the middle of the night... but it looks like once at Garston it will disappear back to Basford Hall and then who knows? If a night-time stroll is required then so be it. If there are any updates from anyone I’d appreciate it very much. Thanks again guys for all your help today, mkr

4M42 is showing as 66593 tonight (for the first part of the journey at least) so let’s see where 598 ends up!

Thanks Tom, exciting times waiting to see! Is there a scheme for which services swap locos at Ipswich or does it depend each day on random factors/which type of loco is working it? Thanks a lot, mkr

No problem, it’s just something I’ve been trying to work out as I’ve been chasing down my last few FL locos and I haven’t been very successful really - but perhaps that’s OK if it really is random! Cheers, mkr

it worked up on one of the Ditton liners, I suspect 4M73 2141 from Felixstowe

Can anyone help with the loco for this working today, probably a Colas 70 ? Sorry I don't have the real headcode. I'm guessing it's running as the return working of the Oxwellmains to Hunslet which ran overnight.
