It looks like it was the cab from a class 50, and from what little remains of the paintwork, I would hazard a guess that it was probably in NSE livery when it was dumped. I hope that helps

ISTR the cab of 50037 is extant. It used to be at Bo'ness but is now elsewhere - possibly Barrow Hill?

If you know where it is/was then I expect someone will know what loco it came off.

As above, it's definitely a 50.
