I have been on the waiting list for about 15 months now and have changed jobs. Should I inform HR now or wait until if/when they have a training place?

What waiting list have you been on, as 15 months seems a long time. It wouldn't hurt to contact them and see what they say as they might want references from your current employer - should they offer you a job.

Trainee driver for the Ashford depot (passed all the tests but waiting to have a medical once they have confirmed the start date). I got an on-hold email a little while back. Thanks I'll send them an email.

Are they still stringing Ashford out? I wonder if that depot is ever going to open.
