Some members may be interested to know that a 6 car train of D Stock was transferred from Ealing Common to Neasden Depot today, via Rayners Lane. It will receive attention from the wheel lathe before being returned to its home territory, presumably towards the end of this week.

Until recently, D Stock wasn't permitted beyond South Harrow but it is now cleared beyond there to Rayners Lane and thence to Neasden Depot.

Thanks for posting this, literally only just read it as I arrived at Neasden. As of 17:00 it has been split into two 3 cars. 3 cars are only just visible right over the back of the depot immediately after departing northbound. The other 3 were easily visible at the north end of the depot, not far from the running lines.

Info has reached me that it will be going back on Monday, probably to Upminster, although it will still have to go via Rayners Lane & Acton Town if it does. Unit numbers are 7044+7067, seen here from the rear of another train.
