Unusual message on SWR re railcards

On Thursday evening I took the 20:50 train from Waterloo to Bracknell. On several occasions the PIS displayed a message saying that tickets purchased with a Railcard were (invalid or not permitted) on this service. I can't remember the exact phrasing.

This is not the case as far as I know unless there is a new restriction that I am unaware of.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

A work colleague was in London on Saturday. He caught an afternoon Waterloo to Basingstoke train and was surprised to see a similar message displayed. There are restrictions on the use of Railcards on weekday mornings, but on Saturday afternoon??? Are SWT sneaking through a change to Railcard validity when the timetables change and have set up the PIS messages in advance?

Thanks for finding that, I remembered it being posted but my search failed to find it. Post #11 in that thread says it’s a fault and been reported, but you’d think it would have been fixable in 2 months…

I try to ignore all auto announcements on SWR, now that they can't shut up. I expect the trains are still in winter time as well!
