Unusual French 4-4-4-4 Duplex

This pic was posted on Heritage rails FB page. It is a huge model of a French duplex loco (2222 in French notation) which was oddly located at a South African stand at the recent London Classic car show. Possibly it was a prototype aimed at the SA export market? Does anyone have any ideas on it?
