Just seen a car train trundling through Altrincham station carrying brand new transit vans, very long, must be 25 years since I've seen a car train in this neck of the woods. Any ideas what it was?

This is what I saw, filmed a couple of weeks ago, good to see the midcheshire line staying busy

I've noticed this pass by our house for a good few months now, it used to run approximately every other Monday, but now seems to be consecutive Monday's. Seems to be a mixture of Citroen chassis Cabs, Hi Top vans & Minibuses on board, surprising how tiny they look in comparison to the Class 66 hauling the train.

6E33 actually runs (up to) three times a week,
but the Wednesday and Friday runs are much earlier,
passing Altrincham at 04:42! hock:

The cars originate from Portbury Docks, near Bristol.
