Does anyone remember a class 175 working an early morning service from Wigan to Manchester Airport, calling at Hindley & Westhoughton, before Bolton? Looking at an old working timetable, it was still running in 2006 before ATW started using the whole fleet and apparently worked ECS from Longsight before running in service back to the Airport; it then commenced more normal operations by working to Windermere.
Would this have been for route knowledge as normally TPE/175s didn't serve stations between Wigan & Bolton?
Also were there any 175 ECS moves from Chester to Preston/Blackpool North, or did all the North West units work ECS to Manchester first?
