Last Friday this XC service http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/C72894/2016/09/23/advanced additionally stopped at Thirsk to cater for Grand Central passengers who were affected by the 19:18 ex-King's Cross being cancelled.
As XC do not usually stop at Thirsk, do drivers/guards need any additional route knowledge to be able to stop at a station not usually stopped at, but on a route they sign? Or will this be part of the route knowledge anyway?
