Hi andel, first of all, welcome to RailUK! I think you must have found us from over at the TTF which may be named ;).

I must admit, the plastic is more wheelchair friendly in some respects, but Mk1s are also wheelchair friendly in other respects! :)

Not in winter, I can assure you. One of my worst journeys was in a thumper from Hastings....

Yeah I found here from TTF... I wondered if the name would give me away!
