Uno with a NBFL clone?

Saw very briefly a (grayish) blue liveried bus driving into Uno's garage this afternoon, in Hatfield. Anyone know anything about it?

Presumably a demonstrator of the new bus that looks like the NBFL/New Routemaster. I couldn't see if it had the rear staircase, but I assume not. It certainly stood out though - but then disappeared before I could get close enough for a photo.

Hopefully I'll see it in the days ahead.

Are these being built in Larbert? I ask because I saw a red one on the M74 near Hamilton last week, I assumed it was being delivered to London.

I'm assuming it is the E400 MMC City demonstrator that's been doing the rounds, as the photo above shows.

It isn't a NB4L and it doesn't have the second staircase, internally it's not a great deal different to the standard E400 MMC. Which is a good bus, it has to be said.

Camelon actually, but that said it could have been at ADLs new Larbert place for testing/development work.
