University - Stansted Airport

I'm looking to travel on a Y-P Single from University to Stansted Airport next month via London instead of going on the CrossCountry through service from New Street.
A first class single is only £13 more, but does this include the full range of benefits of first class travel on the Stansted Express services? ie with a First class single from University can you benefit from the free access to the airport lounge and fast track security, or do you need to buy a specific Stansted Express first class ticket?

This link https://www.stanstedexpress.com/content.asp?SID={6E522F0A-48AD-4FBC-86E2-A94B4667C86B}&pageid=138 just stipulates a first class ticket, though it also says "purchase a 1st class ticket and receive a 1st class invitation" so I wonder whether you need to book from the Stansted site in order to be sent this "invitation"?
