Just over a year since I created my previous thread on this topic (:D), I have a few more unidentified locomotives that I would appreciate some assistance in determining what they are. With the usual caveats that I may have written something down incorrectly etc!

  • 183717: I have this commented as a EuroSprinter. Seen at (or near) Linz in Austria. The only class 183 I can find which is remotely related is the set of five locos used on "Alex" services in southern Germany, but those are 183001-005
  • 191021: a Vectron, seen in the vicinity of Trieste/Villa Opicina. This may be an early/prototype model. The name FuoriMuro came up when I looked into it, they have a few class 191s, but not 191021 as far as I can see
  • 3139902: another Vectron, I'm almost certain I mis-wrote the number! There's a slim possibility that it's 389902 if I wrote a really wierd "8" :D, but that doesn't seem to exist either as far as I can tell! This was seen (I think) somewhere between Attnang-Puchheim and Stainach-Irdning in Austria
Any suggestions gratefully received (including that I may be incompetent! :D). Thanks

Type in your first 2 locos above in the search box (leave a space in the numbers - 183 717 & 191 021) and you will get the details.

Your 3rd one may be a mis write of 193 902?

Hope that helps!

Just to add ... Stern & Haffel (Austria) have vectron 3193 902.

Thanks very much! I looked on that website, but didn't include a space, hence not finding anything.
I think you're right with 3193 902, I must have just written the numbers the wrong way round!

Thanks again! :D
