Unexpected Station Call

Back in the halcyon days there was a legendary Deltic basher who was bashing a pair of 20s back from Skeggy and the train made a signal stop at Elton & Orston. Apparently he got off and waved goodbye to the train just so he could say he had Class 20 haulage to Elton !

They are not looking to fund the station, but fund a report into the viability and business case for the station to present to the Scottish Government.

£25k wouldn't buy you much station these days.
