The extension is being built by the Rother Valley Railway whose stated intention is to build the railway and then hand it to the Kent and East Sussex Railway to operate. On the ground the fact is that by far the majority of the volunteers are members of both organisations. If all goes to plan with the paper work its planned that the KESR will run to Junction Road for the first time in nearly 50 years for a couple of special events next year-just dont tell the bluebell!
