What are the UKTS shows like? me and other fred might go , freds been before but I havent. Whats it like , anyone been before>?.

Normally 3 pcs connected to projectors normally screening 3 different routes - giving advice and help for MSTS and now RS. Along side which is a DCC workshop where help and advice about DCC locomotives is given. They are a friendly bunch and you can pick up one of the community CDs free of charge there.

I normally help out on the Northern shows and have a great time - I'd been running the sim for afew years and this year in Glasgow finally managed to master driving a steam loco (well stopping one actually)

Go down and enjoy yourself you may even get chance to drive one.

What Meld said. I saw them at Ally Pally for the annual model railway exhibit. Damon was there, driving a voyager in scotland.

I have helped out (and set-up/pack-away) at a number of shows (pics on the UKTS Live site of me date back to 2004 IIRC ) and it's always a laugh. Unfortunately I couldn't make it today due to work commitments, but I will be down tomorrow if a colleague can make it in (currently 50-50). Maybe cya there Fred(s)?

I should have, but one of the people there was talking to em about installing Thames Mersey CD I had just got. If they're there next year, and your there, the I'll say hello.
