Now it's time for part five of my Uk trip.
On friday, we went from London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly. Unfortunately there was a diversion and we had to go via Birmingham, where we fell behind several local services.
All in all, we arrived about 60 minutes late in Manchester :neutral:
In the afternoon, we visited the autumn diesel-gala at the ELR. Although the weather was really awful we took several photos. Here they are:
This train will take us from Bury to Heywood:
This DMU took us from Bury to Ramsbottom, where we took photos of the arrival of 37175
D5600 was on the rear of this train:
We took the 37 train back to Bury, where we made thos shots (thanks to "theblackwatch" who showed us around the whole day, we wouldn't have found this spot without him):

On saturday, we went to York to take some photos of the 47 railtour and to visit the NRM.

In the evening, we went to Leeds to take another photo of the railtour.
Here it is:
We travelled back to London after this shot with the 18:40 Leeds-London GNER service (another 40 minutes late...).
