You can use content from any version previous to your current one, so you can use UK Southern V2, as it was made for TRS04.

It says you need a TRS2004 serial number! :?:?

Are you logged on when you're on the DLS window?
It should say "Welcome back" then your username in the box to the left of the search box.

Also, try searching for "UK Southern V2" in CMP and right click and download, it should download all of the dependancies as well (so you dont have to download them separately on the DLS, which could take an age). CMP should download all of the dependancies too, but I'm not sure as I'm now using CM2 (Yay, TS09 :D).

Theres a Southern based route from Ore to Brighton (The East Coastway Line) available on the DLS. Search for 'Hastings' and it should come up for you :)

@90019 TS09 ftw!

Cool :) - I used to have TRS2006 and found that TS09 actually ran better on my system, but not by much. The laptop i have is by no means built for gaming at all, the graphics card is dreadful. But it's all I'v got, so I make do with the poor framerates, even on a blank baseboard! Lol.

TC3 content should work fine in TS09 shouldn't it?

It ran better than TRS06 did on my old computer for a couple of weeks, but now it's not running very well, and I think TC3 will work better until I can get a better processor that's not under the minimum spec for TS09

The built in stuff that was specifically for TC3, and most of the stuff on the TC3 website won't, no. Unless you have TC3 and TS09, so you have the built in stuff needed for the content to run in TS09.
