The response to my request for participants has been amazing! Thank you to everyone who has taken part or considered doing so. As a result, as of today I now only need a further 20 more completed surveys before the results are representative of the rail employee population. This means the findings should be significant and of value. If you have a spare 10 minutes I would be so grateful if you could complete the online survey (link provided below):
A request to all rail employees to volunteer to take part in a fatigue survey as part of a University research study. The purpose of the survey is to examine relationships between fatigue levels and workload, sleep quality and life events. The aim of the research is to add to the body of knowledge and understanding around fatigue within the rail industry, which is lacking compared to other industries such as aviation.
You are invited to take part in a short online questionnaire survey, which forms part of a Masters of Science in Ergonomics research project with the University of Derby Online Learning (UDOL), United Kingdom. All responses will be completely confidential and anonymous.
The survey is user friendly and easy to navigate through. It should take approximately 15 minutes to complete and submit it.
Please note that for ethical reasons as part of a Masters level research project, you must be aged 18 or over.
