UK Railway Records

As Guinness World Records no longer recognise country specific records, does anyone know of any sites where UK only railway related records are listed?

In particular, records relating to distance and average speeds, but not where people have simply charged backwards and forwards on the WCML / ECML all day or similar. Looking for things like records for straightforward very long distance single and return trips...
