Hi,
in 2018 in Budapest I found this loco: UK-FERTIS .. 70 0659 003-1.
In the
Vehicle Keeper Marking Register (VKM)
of
EU Agency for Railways
I can't find this Railway-Firm
Can you tell me who is FERTIS ?
Does it exits now, or is it dead?

Fertis built high speed lines in France. They hired some (old) UK locomotives to assist. I don't know if the company still exists.

According to Wikipedia, The loco was B.R. loco 56117 now owned by Floyd.

UK-based locomotive provider Europhoenix tendered for three of the DB Schenker locomotives (56 018, 56 115, 56 117) for export to Hungarian freight operator Floyd. They finally bought 56 101 (from preservation), 56 115 and 56 117. With 56 101 moving to Europhoenix, 56 018 has been sold to preservationist Ed Stevenson. 56 101 arrived in Hungary on 19 June 2012 with 56 115 and 56 117 following later in the year. These have been renumbered 0659-001-5, 0659-002-3 and 0659-003-1 respectively.

A separate page mentions FERTIS -

The Voies Ferrées Locales et Industrielles (VFLI) is a French freight rail company, a subsidiary of SNCF in the SNCF Logistics group.
The company was formed in 1998 as a low cost short line and industrial railway operator.
The subsidiary Fertis operated construction trains on the LGV Est up to 2007.

I can't see anything linking the loco with FERTIS though.

thank you for your answer.
I think that FERTIS does not exist anymore (They got no more locos..).
Now the loco is owend by FLOYD and this I will put into my Information about ths loco.
