UK departure Boards Desktop Departures,

I have just recently bought the Uk Departure Boards, DesK Top Departure board, which this site advertises, and I can say that for any Rail enthusiast I would highly recommend it, as its a proper live departure board for National Rail trains, Underground and buses etc, its just fun to watch and follow services, in real time. it is very customisable and can show any number of snippets, of information any one wants, Its great in the home or office, and we should support as a community this small business, and go out and buy this, you will not regret, I certainly haven’t, as any other people bought this? And what are thoughts on it?.

I saw and ad for these on here and visited the site but was put off by the fact they didn’t look very realistic, which struck me as odd as I wouldn’t have thought it’d be all that difficult to make it look better. But that’s just me I suppose

Any chance of a photo of yours in action? I know the website has illustrations but just interested.

I bought one of the early ones and everyone who sees it likes it, even if they have no interest in trains. Owing to my own fault, I managed to break my board twice, but the support and help I got from the supplier in getting it fixed was excellent. They are expensive and I personally don't pay for the premium subscription as the basic offer is fine for me.

Could you explain in a little more detail what part you think is not very realistic? We always aim to improve our products.

Our firmware is as almost a direct copy of the real boards and the audio announcements use the same script and Elinor Hamilton as the voice.
