I'm trying to book a return from Slough to Canary Wharf for Sunday 13th October with Network Railcard. Leave 10:00, return 17:00.
I've used the Uber app many times before to get the 10% discount but it's only offering me 2 x anytime singles discounted to £20.50.
The forum's app will happily sell me a Slough travelcard for £13.15.
I've tried deleting & re-installing the app but am still getting the same result.
Any thoughts?

The Uber app is a bit limited and seems to be unable to sell a full range of tickets. If it can sell a Travelcard I have no idea how to find it*, so the solution would appear to be to get 10% back from spending £20.50 or save rather more by buying elsewhere.

Uber tickets isn’t smart enough to realise a travelcard is valid to Canary Wharf. If you ask for a ticket to Paddington it’ll offer a travelcard as one of the options.

Actually, it doesn't. It simply offers Off Peak or Anytime Day Returns.
Are you asking it to return in a different day? It most definitely does, as shown in the attached image below:

No, same day.

On further investigation, it doesn't if the outward journey is with GWR and the return is Elizabeth line (or vice versa) or both ways are Elizabeth line. However, if it's GWR both way it does. Bizarre!
Huh, that is very very odd, although possibly expected of uber ticketing.

Interestingly, It does much the same from the other end of the Elizabeth line for a journey from Shenfield to Liverpool Street. Only allows a Travelcard if the journey is with Greater Anglia. That also seems to be the case if the journey goes further afield in London, don't use the Elizabeth line and you can have a Travelcard.
