Types of rail clips

I was looking at the track this morning after alighting from the train and noticed the variety of clips in use (see attached photos). I think the ‘wire’ ones are pandrol clips, but what are the spring type ones? Is the variety close together intentional or likely due to incremental replacement over the years?

Yes, the bendy ones are Pandrol clips. Forgot how many different types / colours there were. With wooden sleepers there were often spikes.

Judging by the condition of the sleepers, the Pandrols seem to have been used as a replacement for the spike type fastening when sleepers have been replaced. So it is your 'incremental replacement' in action here.

Thank you all for the replies.

I just got my return train and had a wander along the platform. Several of the spring/spike type clips are missing and lying broken in the ballast and some newer painted/coated looking Pandrols so yes I guess they are being replaced with the Pandrols as needed.

The second clip is a "Mills clip".

There are lots of others which were tried in the earlier days of cwr, "SHC", "BJB" to name but two.

Ah yes, the Mills clip. I was trying to remember the name.
